Books Without Borders

Eugene’s Littlest Independent Bookseller, est. 2005

Visit us in the Strand!

Books Without Borders is an independent, locally owned bookstore in downtown Eugene, Oregon; in fact, it’s the littlest independent bookstore in Eugene!  As we like to remind everyone, good things come from little seeds.

Click “Books In Store” button on the left for staff recommendations, DVDs, and new books.

For a partial list of magazines we carry (through May 31) click here.

May 19 at 2 p.m., Books Without Borders will appear at the David Barsamian Targeting Iraq event at LCC to sell books at one of our final off-site events. Please join us!

We currently have an eclectic collection of Sarah Utter t-shirts, Nikki McClure prints, Peru Puppets, and journals in the store to complement our selection of hundreds of magazines and thousands of the best new books on the market.  Everything in the store is 20% off, excluding consignment items. Books Without Borders will close for the final time on May 31st.

After three years of struggling to make a place in our community in downtown Eugene, Books Without Borders’ third birthday will also be our last. We’ll celebrate three years of local independent spirit on May 24th from 6 till 8 pm as BWOB gives up the ghost with local band The Ineffectuals, local authors signing and selling their own books, and a local non-profit program, Books for Kids, reaping the benefits. The cover charge is $5.00 and donations of new and used kids books will be accepted.
